August 1st through the 3rd Jason, Sara, Heidi and I went to Olallie lake to go camping. It was quite the trip! We went up early on Friday Morning and camped out until Sunday morning. We had a great time out on the water, attempting to fish (there were none to be found in the lake!) and just hanging out by the fire.

So if it seems to you that I have been absent from writing recently, your assumption is true! Heidi and I have been very busy and I’ve had some late work nights over the last couple of weeks. It is not that I don’t care for you all, I just have barely have had time to be on the computer outside of work. One other distraction I have had is on my financial planning blog.

As far as our biking adventures go, we have made some trips up to Powell Butte but have not made it up to Mt. Tabor park for quite a while. Maybe we will have to ride up there once this crazy heat wave dies down!

Brooks B-17 is the name of the seat that my parents bought me for my Birthday! If you have seen my Bike Wish List you will notice that it has moved to the “Purchased/Gifted” Section. What a great gift! I am looking forward to many hundreds or thousands of miles on this leather seat. It got great reviews on mtbr.com and it should look good on my bike too. I’ll be installing it soon once I get some proofide to treat it and soften it up.
